Rachida vit dans le quartier de Polana Caniço B.

Elle vend des petits chewing-gum, un metical/pièce et quelques autres bricoles sur le bord de la route près de Xiquenene. Son mari Énercio Mpfumo travaille dans une mine de charbon en Afrique du Sud. Le soir quand elle rentre chez elle, après avoir pris une douche et avant de s’endormir, elle écoute toujours « Matortor » d’Eugénio Mucavel. C’est sa clé des songes et personne ne songe à la lui voler.

She sells small chewing gum, one Metical/Piece and a few other bits on the left side of the road near Xiquenene. Énercio Mpfumo, her husband, works in a coal mine in South Africa. At the end of the day when tired she goes home, after a shower and before to go to to sleep, she always listens "Matortor" played by Eugenio Mucavel. That song is her only key to get dreams and until today no one thought to steal it.
